About Estate Jewelry Exchange USA
Estate Jewelry Exchange USA is a private, appointment-only jewelry buyer located in Orange, California. We help individuals, families, executors, trustees, and estate representatives who are considering selling inherited jewelry, estate jewelry, vintage pieces, watches, sterling silver jewelry, designer jewelry, costume jewelry, and mixed family collections.
Many clients contact us while settling an estate, helping a parent downsize, preparing for an estate sale, clearing a longtime home, or deciding what to do with jewelry that has been stored for many years. Our purpose is to provide a private, organized, and respectful way to handle that process.
A Private Local Option for Selling Estate Jewelry
Selling family jewelry can feel very different from selling ordinary household property. Some pieces may hold strong memories. Other items may have been passed down without boxes, receipts, paperwork, or any explanation of what they are.
A single estate collection can include older jewelry, vintage costume pieces, watches, sterling silver, signed designer jewelry, wedding jewelry, broken pieces, single earrings, and items that family members do not recognize. Most clients are not jewelry experts and should not be expected to identify, research, or sort every piece before asking for help.
Jewelry can be presented as it was found in jewelry boxes, cases, bags, drawers, storage containers, or mixed estate lots. Our What We Buy page explains the types of jewelry and collections that may be considered during a private buying appointment.
Created for Families Handling Important Transitions
Estate Jewelry Exchange USA was created for people who want an alternative to placing jewelry in a public estate sale, carrying it into a busy walk-in environment, listing pieces individually online, or sending an entire collection through a lengthy consignment process.
A scheduled appointment provides a quieter and more focused setting. Clients have time to present the jewelry they are considering selling, understand the buying process, and decide whether a direct sale is appropriate for their situation.
What Makes Our Approach Different
Private Appointments
We do not operate as a casual walk-in jewelry counter. Appointments are arranged in advance so each visit can remain private, organized, and focused on the jewelry being presented.
Experience With Mixed Collections
Estate collections are often unsorted and may contain jewelry from several generations. We are comfortable reviewing mixed boxes, bags, cases, and lifelong collections without requiring clients to organize everything first.
Direct Purchase Offers
When jewelry fits what we are currently purchasing, a direct offer may be made based on the items, condition, age, collectability, resale demand, and current market conditions.
No Obligation to Sell
Clients are not required to accept an offer. The decision remains with the owner, family member, executor, trustee, fiduciary, or authorized representative handling the collection.
Experience With Older and Unsorted Jewelry
Estate jewelry rarely arrives neatly separated into categories. A family collection may include vintage brooches, necklaces, bracelets, rings, watches, signed costume jewelry, sterling silver pieces, wedding jewelry, unmatched earrings, damaged items, and miscellaneous pieces collected over several decades.
Some pieces may have recognizable names, signatures, or markings. Others may be unsigned, altered, incomplete, or stored in the wrong box. Clients are encouraged to include the broader collection rather than discarding unusual, unsigned, broken, or mismatched pieces before an appointment.
Viewing the jewelry together can provide a more complete understanding of what is present and help prevent potentially interesting pieces from being overlooked.
